If a picture paints a thousand words, then why can't I make a story?

I took this photo when I was in Lincoln IL driving from somewhere with my husband and I don't remember.

There are no maple trees where I came from. All we have are coconut, juicy ripe mangoes and other tropical fruit trees.

I was fascinated the first time saw these dried maple seeds. I thought they look like a tiny fairy wings!

I was looking at this yesterday and inspired me to start writing a story. I called it "The Glass Fairy".
