Other Mother's Mantle

I'm so blessed to have a great relationship with my mother-in-law. We love chitchatting about what's going on especially if either of us shopped for something.
We just couldn't wait to see each other for Christmas! Oh how days are going so slow! I want to see her soon! I miss her so much eventhough we talk all the time!
(as I was writing this, she just texted me that she was BRAGGING about me. And I told her that I am BLOGGING about her!)

She just finished putting up her Christmas decorations. Today, I want to show my second most favorite part of her house.

The 'Fireplace'.

This is her mantle for this year. As usual.. I love it!

Every year Mumsy always decorate her mantle differently. This her mantle last year.

What is your mantle's theme this year?

I hope you are all having a great day!

Till next post!

  3. Oh my gosh, your mother-in-law sounds amazing!!! You lucky girl!!! I love the fireplace--how gorgeous....
I thought of you today because I went to find snow to make a snow globe, but the store didn't have it...I wish I knew where they carried it!

I think you could make an awesome Paris one and use it on your blog all through winter...because I LOVE the one you have posted now!!

  4. That's so nice that you have a close relationship with your mother-in-law. I love mine too. She had 10 kids, can you believe it? Your mother-in-law's mantel looks lovely. I have poinsettias gracing our mantel with a snowglobe. We also put our cards on there that are sent to us every year.

  6. How wonderful that you have such a special relationship with your mother-in-law, Myric! That's exactly as it should be. By the way, I think the shades of white, with hints of green, make such a beautiful mantelscape. ;)

Thanks for linking to Time Travel Thursday this week.
