Meet Roxy and Rupert. I took care of them when I was in Nice for a family on vacation. |
First time I was with this breed of dog was when I dog sit in Nice. I took care of two Cavalier King Charles. We fell in love with it (of course I loved each everyone of them). They are sweet, quiet and my hubby doesn't seem to be allergic to them. We decided to get one after we settled here in U.S before having a baby.
Rupert under the table. Not really sure why. Notice I have more pictures of him. He is older. He was mostly sitting still. Easier to take a photo. He is a poser isn't he? |
Reality struck. They are expensive.
I tried looking for adoption centers around Arizona. Even there costs around $400 at least. But me and my husband couldn't afford it.
I admit, I was heartbroken. I lowered my expectations and considered other breeds as long as they compromise with my husband's health concerns.
I do have preferences in choosing a dog. I want a sweet, very cute, smart, silent and cuddly. I guess reality unfolds I cannot always choose whoever or whichever I want.
But I'm sure I will love any dog we can get,
like I've loved all dogs I took care.
Awwww, totally love those little faces. So very cute.
