To some, Christmas season demands monetary spending from decors to gifts and abundant holiday feast. It defeats the Christmas' message of simplicity demonstrated when the savior of the world was born in a humble stable.
Of course everybody wants the best for this special occasion. After-all, this occasion is very meaningful. I myself want to spoil my home with a feasty-holiday decors.
oh it would really be nice to buy all those beautiful decors I see online, malls and stores but we have a tight budget to follow and we rather spend for gifts than home decors. It could be frustrating sometimes. But on the brighter-side, it challenges me to be more resourceful and creative.....
....like using recycled dryer sheets! I have more used sheets left so I thought why not use it to make something cute!
I was invited to be a guest blogger at ArtsyGirlConnection as a part of a Special Christmas soiree (that is even happening now) and it is one of my choices to feature a tutorial on how to make this tree!
I hope you are all having a fabulous day!
Till the next post!
Your tree is just darling, Myric! Creating something so beautiful from plain ol' dryer sheets is pure genius! You either must have been saving them for a long time, or else do a ton of laundry:) teehee! I so agree, being on a tight budget kind of forces us to be more creative, doesn't it? And I was having the same sentiments today, about how so much of this season doesn't have anything to do with the true meaning of Christmas. Have a wonderful night!!!
ReplyDeleteThis is totally heavenly, Myric!!! I have to tweet it!!!
