Snowman Hunt #2: Dining Room

Welcome to my Snowman Hunt at Chez Mumzy!

Yesterday, I took you on a tour at mumsy's front porch and living room area. The next stop today is the dining room!
It is not only a place where we ate tasty meals. Here, we also play card games, enjoy the warm cozy fireplace and make smores!

This house is built with love. Dadzy (my father-in-law) spent a long time remodelling this house with a help from a few friends! He is a minister not a carpenter but he had done a great job in building a church and remodelling their home. If I can only show you a documented photos of before and after of the house. He is amazing!

Before
After
He even made the mantle all by himself! In fact, he made one for a neighbor! So there is an identical mantle like this around Mayfair somewhere.

Mumsy took care for interior designing
Mostly she made them herself!
I never actually asked if this sewing machine still runs.

Anyways, it makes a very nice table.

I love her collection of antique findings

Precious moments figurines are all over the house!

They have been collecting it for more than 30 years!
I love this wall decoration!

These are placed on top of a china cabinet which I forgot to take a photo. (oh shoot) She loves this scene because it reminds her of home. She grew up in Upper Peninsula.

Thanks for stopping by today. I hope you enjoyed my little tour around Chez Mumsy. Tomorrow, I will post some pictures of her kitchen (My favorite place).

Till the next post! Have a wonderful day!!!

  4. Myric,
This is such a lovely space. I love those red glass candle holders. I know you were intrigued with Jess' MISS SKINNY SNOWMAN. I did a post about her today, so you can see her. Help me come up with a name for her too. hehe
