Snowman Hunt: Part 1

We finally arrived home just in time to celebrate our new year together. We welcomed 2012 with a kiss and a toast of sparkling cider!
I am so happy to be home again after a very loooong trip. We had a very busy but fun Christmas that I haven't visited or read most your blogs for two weeks! I feel I have a lot of catching-up to do!
As I promised, here's a tour around  my mumsy's house and have a "Snowman Hunt". Let's step at the front porch shall we?
A family of three snowman welcomes you as you step in the house!
And now the....
Can you tell yet she loves snowman decorations?!

We used this small lamp post on our wedding. Mumsy made the arrangement.
Here's a wide view of the living room.

We tease her with a name "The Cleaner". There were no settings or anything. The house stays like this all the time in-spite-of her job's busy schedule!
I always admired her Christmas faux cake!

And here where she keeps memories

There's the picture of her loving mother when she was young and a picture of her three sons, niece, nephew-in-law and me!

I hope you enjoyed my little tour of the living room. For our next stop... dining room!

Till the next post!

  5. Welcome Home, Myric! Your Mum's house is darling! It looks so festive and bright! The nice thing about snowmen decorations is that you can leave them up all winter, if you want. Thanks for sharing!

  6. Myric,
What a charming home, and the snowmans are so special. I just gave Jess a skinny girl snowman that I saw when I was out shopping one day. They are so jolly, aren't they? I hope the New Year brings you much joy. I look forward to seeing your dining room pictures.
