Taco Chicken Bowl

I am so blessed to have a husband that is almost as exotic as me (exept he doesn't like fish sauce and shrimp paste). Who is brave enough to be my guinea pig and eats everything I make. He eats without complains but gives constructive criticisms if he has one.

Today I tried the recipe I learned from Budget Bytes called Taco Chicken bowls. It is very very easy! click here for the recipe. A $10.66 recipe. She even put a precised cost per serving!

Looks really good especially with cute yellow bowl isn't it?

This is my version of the recipe. It doesn't look as appetizing as the above picture. It tastes good! My husband liked it. I did not put cilantro. He hates it!

Mommy-in-law gave the bowl for my birthday.

You can even also serve it on small tortillas.

Be sure to cook a bit extra for leftover Fridays! Enjoy :)

Very Easy Sweet and Sour Chicken

I've had  my lazy cooking days and today is one. Karen, my husband's cousin's wife (really not sure how to call her in shorter term) shared this recipe from Minute's site and I made this for tonight's dinner. I have tried making good chicken for my sweet and sour but I just couldn't perfect it. My kitchen becomes messy and greasy everytime I fry chickens. so I used frozen chicken nuggets instead. Not really a fan of frozen food, but this isn't bad for easy made asian food. I put fresh veggie in it so thats good. I think.

Easy Sweet and Sour Chicken

I had printed recipe with me, but my stubborn self just wont follow the instructions. It is easier and more fun making it, my style.

My hubby liked it. He used chopsticks for more asian feel
