One of the joys of being a Filipino is the ability to start a friendship in a very short amount of time. I guess we they got it from deep familiarity of family ties. Cyren (the girl beside me) was my very first close friend when I moved here in Tucson. I first met her at Copper Mountain Church 2 weeks after we just moved. I found out we were living in the same apartment complex, which was a tremendous blessing.
They are such a lovely couple! |
One friend goes, but another one comes. We came home with a gift after my friend Cyren's farewell party. Our other friend needed to find a home for this cute little bundle of joy. She asked us if we would like to keep him. Her husband is blind and suffering from illness, one of them is dementia. She couldn't keep up with her chores.
This dog has taken over my computer. Oh cmon!! Make your own facebook account! Geez! |
We decided to keep him since we have been looking for a dog suitable for hubby's health concerns and also as a form of charity for our friend. This way, she could see him anytime she wants.
Your new furry friend is so cute! He looks right at home, too! What is his name? Sorry that you had to tell your friend goodbye, but you know that it wont be forever, so that has got to be a comfort, I hope!!
ReplyDeleteGood Evening Myric Sweetie...
ReplyDeleteOh what a beautiful share this evening. I am so tickled to
see your friends. Sorry to hear they are moving, but they
will never be far from your heart. That is what is most lovely
about memories, we carry them forever and nobody can take them
away.
Your new fur baby is just gorgeous. He will be such great company
for you. How nice that your friend can still visit him and you
can see that he gets the proper care and attention. What a beautiful
act of love.
Thank you for sharing sweet one. I so enjoyed my visit this evening.
I hope you have a glorious weekend. Many hugs and much love, Sherry
