Hello world!
So Thanksgiving is over. What's next? Is it in your family tradition to go on black Friday frenzy? Did you get some great deals?
Those great deals were so tempting, but i just couldnt afford to spend more than I make. Though I decided not to be a part of midnight chaos, I will still have to witness the aftermath tomorrow at work.

Those great deals were so tempting, but i just couldnt afford to spend more than I make. Though I decided not to be a part of midnight chaos, I will still have to witness the aftermath tomorrow at work.
But before I set off at work, i want to leave you with a little project i made.
I was looking at my inexpensive diy tablepiece and i couldnt help but think, it needed something more!
So with an acrylic paint on my hand and a stamp on the other, i had an idea!
I used a faded text background rubber stamp with black acrylic as ink and let it dry. Expect this is temporary, at least i could erase or change the design anytime.
Do you have recent project to share?

ReplyDeleteYou put me to shame. Really!
ReplyDeleteBut I'm going to start seriously this weekend. I think I'll adopt your Glass design to my Mantel Decor... don't have a stamp but I think I can get around that... it would look lovely.

Go for you for not shopping! That is usualy the choice I need to make as well.
ReplyDeleteI did go shopping--to the fabric store. I got fabric to make myself some new aprons. Mine are wearing through and new ones are $19.95 to $34.95 for the ones I really like. I can make them for around $4 each because of the fabric sales, and my since my clothes are protected, they will last longer.
I also bought fabric to make my daughter a birthday dress, some felt to make my sons some cub scout vests (normally $14.99; they will cost me about $1.55 each to make), and some embroidery thread.
I am making a gift a day this month (during the weekdays) and blogging about it; if you'd like to get some inexpensive gift ideas, from free to $6, please click over to my blog. Several things can be made using what you already have on hand. I repurposed several items to make gifts in this series.
