So I got a sewing machine. What now?I had no experience in sewing or whatsoever. Well, yes I remember in my home economics class, we tried to make an apron but I never really payed much attention to it. My sister who is craftier than me ended-up making my project instead.
It was only now that I am enjoying my time as a thrifty homemaker that I showed interest in D.I.Y decors. It made more sense to have a sewing machine.
This fabric was left-overs when I refurbished our dining room chairs which I got at the clearance section at Hancock fabrics.
I thought it would be fun to make a pillow cover with it and fortunately, I had a piece of paper transfer, made a design with the help of The Graphic's Fairy and put "Le Chateau Blue". That's what I want to call our living room :)
I apologize, I was too excited to try the sewing machine that I did not take pictures of step-by-step process of sewing pillow case.
However, one of our linkers from Passion Parade Link Soiree Babblings and More shared an easy tutorial on how to make gorgeous pillow covers!
