Herbes de Provence

I just started practicing graphic art through gimp again. We don't have much wall art to put-up yet. Since I don't have the luxury for home decorations yet, I thought I try start designing my own.

This is just a piece of few more to come. Gotta complete the set of herbs :)

Sometimes I just couldn't find a wall art that I suits my taste, so I designed this for our kitchen or dining room myself. This way, I have more control with the design and color. I could print this on canvas, frame it and hang.

I always want French Provence theme for our kitchen/dining room. The colors are warm, inviting, appetizing and festive!

hmmm..Can be cover for recipe book too don't you think?

  2. Beautiful art! Is gimp a software program? I painted a few watercolors for my kitchen since I couldn't find what I wanted either.

  6. Your graphic art is lovely, Myric. It certainly is worthy of framing! I hope you'll show off the rest of the set of herbs when you're done.
